About

Live with joy, purpose and connection.

Kelly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who offers in-person therapy and wellness services in San Diego and virtual services throughout California. She specializes in working with teens, parents, families and young adults who are navigating life’s simultaneous beauty and complications. Common topics that clients come to address include mood, self-esteem, work and school stress, life transitions, and relationships. Many people think that the purpose of therapy is to address problems, but it is equally important to plan ahead for reaching your goals and continue to grow into your best self. At Kind Heart Therapy and Wellness Services, the treatment approach is collaborative. Discussion will explore how your past experiences may be influencing your present. Education about habits that improve mental health and challenge negative thought patterns will be provided. Honest feedback will be offered to gently hold you accountable while also celebrating your progress, and providing encouragement when you feel stuck. Kelly teaches emotional intelligence, meaning how to identify your emotions and then how to use techniques for calming your body. She feels that effective communication skills are essential to healthy relationships. She believes that cultivating a loving relationships from within helps to translate into loving relationships with others. This also come from learning how to repair relationships after conflict. PAYMENT AND INSURANCE Kind Heart Therapy & Wellness Services is an out-of-network provider, which means that a superbill (receipt of your payment) will be provided for the client to submit to insurance for reimbursement.
